I photographed Sheri a few weeks ago when Muirren was still safely inside her belly. On Monday I had the honour of photographing their amaging little gift from above. Sheri and Rob are in the process of moving house – so in between the boxes and bubblewrap we managed to get a couple of nice shots.

I did Sheri’s make-up for her preggie shoot the other day. I gave her a nice smokey eye and used some green glitter as eye-liner. Here is a nice before and after of my gorgeous friend. What a cool couple and divine family! More photos can be viewed under “family” category.

I met this very cool skydiving couple a few years ago and became really good friends with them. Rob and Sheri got married in March 2010 and decided they wanted to add to their family. The doctor told Sheri that her chances of falling pregnant were very small and that she would probably need to go for fertility treatment. About a month before her treatment Sheri came to see me with pregnancy test in hand – POSITIVE. What a miracle! I also did Sheri’s make-up which was super cool.

Afternoon World and Happy Monday!
I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that has visited my site and taken the time to write such lovely comments. I have 176 comments awaiting approval – so if your comment is one of them, I’ll try and get to it soon.

A little while ago, someone left a comment on my site and said:
” you don’t really say much at all ” …………..
Well, perhaps I don’t say a lot, but I hope (and it certainly is my aim)………that my pictures speak for themselves. I certainly don’t want to start “justifying” why I think and image is a GOOD image. The image should speak for itself. If I start “justifying” then the image probably isn’t good enough to begin with.
I try and capture an emotion with my images. And every emotion is different for every person.
It is my wish to create the perfect image! Does the perfect image exist ? ? ? ? ? Not sure, but I will keep trying, and trying, and trying.

I have also skilled myself in make-up artistry for two reasons: To express my own creative talents through colour and composition and to compliment my photographic work. By offering this as a service, I create an intimacy between me and my client. Without it being viewed as a one stop shop, it has proved time and time again the critical aspect, in producing the quality work I strive towards. By understanding colour and light I am able to eventually capture images that portray real beauty, live not only up to the standards of the client, but the level of work I aim towards.
My friend Yvain very kindly agreed to be my model for the day. What a model she was!!! STUNNING I think! (Her “before” picture is at the end of this post) (Make-up and photography done by me.)

Karolina is a stunning girl originally from Poland. Her and a group of friends came and did a make-up workshop with me. I was very honored when she asked me to do her wedding make-up. She is so stunning, inside and out!!!

What a great day spent with Dudley, Elmien and Michael. Poor Dudley had cracked ribs but luckily managed to get through the 2 hour photoshoot. I also did Elmien’s make-up! What a gorgeous woman.
